big life update

Tomorrow I start a new job. 🙀

My first full-time job in nine years!

I'm excited and terrified (mostly about how my migraine will do, since I'll be driving a lot).

I'm relieved to have a steady paycheck and benefits, but I'm also sad to need to make some changes to Yoga for Migraine.

Last year was one of my best years in business, but this year has been much slower. I realized I couldn't continue running Yoga for Migraine as my sole source of income, so I started applying for jobs.

After just one week of applying, I was hired as a Specialty Account Manager for Numotion, a company that provides customized wheelchairs and other mobility solutions for people with disabilities.

I truly didn't expect to find a job so quickly, but here we are!

As I transition into this new chapter, I wanted to let you know that I may not reach out quite as often via email or social media, and I may be a little slower to respond to your comments and messages.

But I'm not going anywhere!

I'll continue offering my Migraine Self-Care Circle, with live yoga classes, monthly guided playlists, and a rich video library of migraine-targeted yoga classes.

Your support and engagement in the Yoga for Migraine community have meant the world to me since I started this business in 2020, at the height of the pandemic.

I've had the privilege of working with so many wonderful women through Beyond Migraine coaching and my Yoga for Migraine classes. Even though we've only connected virtually, I feel genuinely connected to this worldwide community through our online classes, coaching calls, and conversations.

So this definitely isn't goodbye. Just a “things are changing” update.

Thank you for helping me realize my dream of sharing Yoga for Migraine and Beyond Migraine coaching with women searching for holistic approaches to migraine.

I couldn't have gotten this far without you. 🫶

Much love,
Adriane

I have only the warmest memories of my first in-person Beyond Migraine luxury retreat last weekend. Everything went better than I imagined – the weather was beautiful, everyone got along super well, and the only thing I forgot to bring was bingo (we found a virtual version to play on our phones instead!). Six alumni from my Beyond Migraine coaching program flew in from as far and wide as Alaska and Tennessee to deeply relax and be spoiled in a small town in Idaho. Having known these amazing...

Last week I participated in my fifth Headache on the Hill (HOH), a biannual advocacy event for better legislation and funding for headache disorders with my representatives in the United States Congress. This year I didn’t fly all the way to Washington DC to participate, but I was able to meet with my representatives virtually for a day of seven meetings for Idaho and Vermont. It sounds easier than flying across the country, but somehow it still wipes me out every time! This year felt a...

I know that seeing other people get better while you’re still struggling with migraine can sometimes feel more discouraging. “Must be nice to be her!” you think as you spend another day in bed with a migraine attack. But sometimes, seeing what’s possible can also give you hope that your migraine can improve when you try something different. I hope watching this short 1 minute video featuring my Beyond Migraine clients gives you a spark of hope. Because my clients inspire me everyday about...
